In a meeting with a Dutch economic official.
Deputy Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Hassan Al Zahrani stressed that
the working environment in the Saudi market is conducive to foreign
investment, and encouraging the establishment of a small and
medium institutions sector with high standard.
This was in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign
Economic Relations at the Dutch Foreign Ministry, Khaudo Landheer, who
visited the Chamber in the presence of the Secretary General of the
Chamber Abdulrahman Al Wabel. The two sides stressed the depth of the
Saudi-Dutch relationship in the past and present,
Al Zahrani reviewed many investment opportunities available to Dutch
companies within the Saudi market, noting the facilities provided by the
Kingdom government for foreign investment. The Saudi market is an
attractive environment for foreign investors. It enjoys full freedom of
capital flowing.
For his part, the Dutch official pointed that the Dutch geography
contributed to the creation of a special superiority of the Dutch
companies, such as the marine industry, which can take place in the
local market referring to the many large projects by
these companies in the Kingdom.
The two sides discussed the exchange of visits and meetings between
the economic delegations in the two countries, including the visit of
the Dutch trade delegation specialized in the oil and gas sector, who
visits the chamber during this month, stressing the importance of such
visits and the necessity of diversifying the investments and commercial
exchanges between the two countries.
